This  PL02-37 Pre-Licensing Bail Bonds course will fulfill the Initial Course Requirements for becoming a Surety Agent (Bail Bond Agent). This is perfect for individuals who want to begin their career as a Surety Agent. 

It is your 1st step in becoming a Surety Agent. Once you clear this hurdle the other steps to becoming a Surety Agent will seem like a breeze.  It will also properly prepare and inform you of the fundamental specs of being a Surety Agent.

Must have the following prerequisite(s) to become an agent

• Successfully completed 120-hours of an approved basic certification course in the criminal justice system, making a grade of not less than 80 percent approved by the department

• AND

• Successfully completed a correspondence course approved by the department. 

• (Must be completed within the last two (2) years)
